Because if you believe it's just as easy to mass produce fully balanced 1-piece driveshafts as it is 2-piece, then I'd like to point out how many aftermarket companies had trouble doing much smaller production runs of balanced 1-piece driveshafts. It's only been in the last year and a half or two years that there have been reliable 1-piece shafts on the market for the Z32... before then, it was a gamble as to whether or not you'd get a truly balanced one. And aliaZ said the same thing... it's flat out easier and cheaper to get better NVH levels with a 2-piece. And if you do any research at all, you'll find that it's not uncommon to use a 2-piece shaft for exactly that reason. By the way, next time you want to argue a point, here's a suggestion: actually have a counterpoint.
